Kintamani is the name of mountainous region in northern Bali, and this coffee takes it’s name from that region. There is wide spread poverty on the island, however coffee is helping to change that.
Cupping Characteristics:
This is a complex Sumatra with a rich and clean flavor that mixes sweet fruit flavors with hints of butterscotch, honey and dark chocolate. The Natural (dry) processing of this coffee adds layers of complexity. The earthiness and increased body common in Indonesian coffees is still present, however there is a distinct sweetness found in this natural coffee that is super fruity and reminiscent of raspberries and sweet brandy. This wild and eclectic combination of flavors makes this coffee standout.
